All programs are free and open to fitness/pool, combo members, and summer pool members.
All classes are subject to change based on attendance.
We are happy to report that during the GREEN phase, we are able to open our INDOOR pool with restrictions and protocols in place.
Aquatic GrpX in the INDOOR pool and at the East Petersburg OUTDOOR pool will resume on Monday, June 29th.
DURING THE GREEN PHASE
Following the July 1st mandate from the state of Pennsylvania, members must wear a face-covering in all common areas including the lobby, locker rooms, and hallways. We will assume that failure to wear a mask is due to an existing condition.
Masks are highly recommended in our fitness center, our indoor pool, the gym, and on our indoor tennis courts.
Social distancing on land and in the pool will be required.
During lap swimming, only two people per lane starting at opposite ends.
There will be no showers, lockers, sauna, or steam room available.
Open to members only, no guests or punch cards.
Deep Water Aerobics
Class Description Deep Water Aerobics is a non-impact workout designed to reinforce and maintain a high level of fitness. The class focuses on total body toning, strengthening and cardiovascular benefits with no stress to the joints. You are supported in deep water with a flotation belt while running, jogging and skiing with water resistance. Emphasis is placed on posture to strengthen the core body muscles and provide a safe and highly effective workout. Recommended Fitness Level Medium/High Prerequisites Medium/high fitness level. Swimmers and non-swimmers.
Class Description Hydro-Fit lets you take your water aerobic experience to the next level. It is designed to reinforce and maintain a high level of fitness that will help you play or compete faster, stronger and longer in your sport. Using the natural resistance of water with special moves, you’ll reach an aerobic maximum while building endurance and improving strength and flexibility. Recommended Fitness Level High Prerequisites High fitness level. Swimmers and experienced exercisers.
H20 Pilates Core Stability
Class Description This class combines the principles of Pilates with the benefits of aqua exercise, enabling you to rebuild your body from the inside out by increasing abdominal strength, back strength, energy and posture. Whether you’re an athlete wanting to enhance performance by increasing your core strength or you have arthritis, osteoporosis or weight challenges – H20 Pilates is the class for you. Recommended Fitness Level Low/High Prerequisites Any fitness level. Swimmers and non-swimmers.
Shallow Water Aerobics
Class Description Shallow water aerobics uses the high resistance of water to deliver a great high-level workout while increasing strength and flexibility and toning legs, thighs, butt and abs. Our Silver Sneakers instructors combine aerobic conditioning with resistance training using noodles, barbells and kickboards. Recommended Fitness Level Medium/High Prerequisites Swimmers and non-swimmers. Balance and steadiness in the water is required. Water shoes or old sneakers are recommended.
Turbulence & Tranquility Aerobics
Class Description This class engages you with a high-level workout like no other. It’s an anaerobic workout that works on abdominal strength and flexibility and helps you burn calories at a high rate, waking up your metabolism and increasing your endurance. Recommended Fitness Level Medium High/High Prerequisites Swimmers and non-swimmers. Balance and steadiness in the water is required. Water shoes or old sneakers are recommended.
Class Description Aquatic running is for people who want to get a good workout without learning to swim. It’s been proven to help with the painful symptoms of fibromyalgia, helps athletes who are recovering from an injury and can be beneficial for anyone who wants to increase or maintain their fitness level. Recommended Fitness Level Beginner Prerequisites None
Silver Sneakers Shallow Water Aerobics
Class Description Combines aerobic conditioning with balance and functional fitness exercises designed to increase balance, energy and strength. Recommended Fitness Level Low Prerequisites Swimmers and non-swimmers. Balance and steadiness in the water is required. Water shoes or old sneakers are recommended.
