DURING THE GREEN PHASE
Following the July 1st mandate from the state of Pennsylvania, members must wear a face-covering in all common areas including the lobby, locker rooms, and hallways. We will assume that failure to wear a mask is due to an existing condition.
Masks are highly recommended in our fitness center, our indoor pool, the gym, and our indoor tennis courts.
Social distancing on land and in the pool will be required.
During lap swimming, only two people per lane starting at opposite ends.
Lockers and showers are available, no sauna or steam room.
Chairs and benches will be available to briefly to change shoes and clothing changes, only.
FREE Programs for Seniors Staying active and connected are crucial components to wellness—which is why we strive to provide programs and an environment that supports senior populations. We participate in the SilverSneakers® and Silver&Fit® Fitness Programs providing free membership to seniors with eligible plans: AARP® Medicare Supplement, Highmark Freedom Blue, and Health Options Program, to name a few. Please call your provider to see if your plan is eligible. With SilverSneakers® and Silver&Fit® memberships, seniors may participate in the following exercise classes designed especially for older adults. Low-impact class is designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and increased activity for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing and balls are offered for resistance; a chair is used for seated and standing support.
Designed for seniors, this class is designed to promote cardiovascular and muscular strength through non-impact choreography. Class focuses on the benefits of circuit training to increase cardiovascular and muscular strength without increasing the risk.
Get up and go! Designed for seniors, this easy-to-follow, low impact class includes range-of-motion exercises along with strength training, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation—all designed to energize your active lifestyle.
SilverSneakers® Shallow Water Aerobic
Combines aerobic conditioning with balance and functional fitness exercises designed to increase balance, energy and strength. For both swimmers and non-swimmers. Balance and steadiness in the water is required. Water shoes or old sneakers are recommended.
