BLACK KNIGHT TRACK & FIELD CAMP
The 22nd annual Black Knight Track &
Field Camp provides boys & girls ages 8-14
with an opportunity to explore the different
events in track & field. Participants will
learn proper running technique, relay racing,
hurdling, starting techniques, long,
triple, and high jumping, shot put, discus,
softball throw, and gain conditioning as
well. A local Track and Field Meet will be
held on Fri., June 7. Winners of events
advance to Hershey Dist. II qualifying
meet.

Coach Julianne Bojanic-Collier has led the
Hempfield Varsity Team to the State tournament
the past four years, winning the
championship in 2011! Join her and her
coaching staff for this camp that will
include fundamental principles, stick-work
offense/defense and team strategy.

HERSHEY TRACK & FIELD MEET (LOCAL MEET)
Participants ages 9-14 (Born 1999-2004) can choose to
compete in up to three track & field events. First place
winners will advance to the Hershey District Meet. Forms
are available at the Hempfield Rec Center Front Desk. All participants must have a COPY
of their birth certificate attached to the registration form in order to participate. Copies
will not be made at the event. Event is co-sponsored by HARC and the Hempfield High
School Track & Field Coaching staff.

YOUTH COED OUTDOOR VOLLEYBALL CAMP
Ages 9-15. This camp includes instruction on how the
game is played, basic skills as well as daily
game play. Campers will be grouped
according to their ability and knowledge of
the game.

GYM RATS BASKETBALL CAMP
Back by popular demand! The Gym
Rats Basketball Camp is geared to young
girls and boys (ages 5 to 12) as a fun introduction
to the game of basketball. All
camp participants will receive excellent
instruction in a fun and positive manner.
We will work on basic fundamentals and
play games while learning more about the
game of basketball.

Through USA
Football and its
FUNdamentals system,
Oben Flag Football introduces youth
((grades 1-6) to the sport by teaching basic
skills in a FUN and energetic environment.
USA Football-certified coaches use a series
of drills to show passing, catching and running
skills in a non-contact setting. All
skills and drills combine Roman Oben's
experience with USA Football's Players
Progression Development Model, ensuring
children are learning in an age appropriate
manner and in an ideal atmosphere for FUN!
Who is Roman Oben?
Roman was a starting
left tackle in the NFL
for over 90% of his
games played for the Giants, Browns,
Chargers and the Super Bowl XXXVII
Bucaneers. Since 2003 he has run instructional
football camps around the country.
He is also an adjunct professor at Fairleigh
Dickinson University (FDU) in sports
administration and has testified at U.S.
Congressional hearings on safety in youth
sports.

YOUTH BOOT CAMP
Youth Boot Camp is a group exercise class for ages 6-10 to keep
your child active and in shape during the summer. This program
is a great way to get your child up and moving through the use
of calisthenics, circuit training, games and much more and
much more. The most important lesson your child will
learn is that fitness can be fun and should be a part of
their lifestyle.

NEW! HEMPFIELD STARS TENNIS CAMP
The Hempfield Rec Center is proud to announce the
addition of Hempfield Stars Tennis Camps to its roster of
junior tennis activities this summer. Hempfield will hold
two, one-week long camps throughout the summer. Both camps are designed to help juniors
improve their all-around tennis game as well as improve their competitive skills. At
the conclusion of each camp we will hold a USTA junior tournament for juniors in the
surrounding area. The juniors that are USTA members who participate in the full session
of camp will automatically be entered into the tournament free of charge. If you have further

NJTL is a USTA (United States Tennis
Association) program. Please specify

GOLF CAMPS AT FOUR SEASONS GOLF COURSE
This camp offers expert instruction on golf basics for youth. The focus is on golf etiquette,
proper set-up, and swing fundamentals. Activity games are played to learn different
techniques. Golf clubs, balls, and tees are provided. Max of 10 players per session.
