ExtraGIVE is one of the moments each year when Lancaster County’s generosity truly shines, and we’re excited once again to take part in this community-wide celebration of giving. For us at the Hempfield recCenter, ExtraGIVE isn’t just about raising funds—it’s about strengthening the place we all call home.
Our mission has always centered on creating a healthier, more connected community. We’re far more than a fitness center or swimming pool. We’re a hub where kids find confidence, adults discover new passions, seniors stay active and engaged, and families spend meaningful time together. From fitness and aquatics to childcare, camps, parks, tennis, enrichment programs, and community events, we aim to serve every corner of Hempfield with purpose and heart.
This year, our ExtraGIVE focus is about Finding Your Fit—giving everyone the opportunity to find their fit through a wide variety of programs and opportunities while maintaining our commitment to opening our doors for neighbors who may not have the financial means to participate. Every contribution helps to fund opportunities and initiatives like our Daycamp and Playground programs, so more families can access after-school care, and more seniors can stay active in a safe, supportive space. The more we raise, the more lives we can impact.
