Meet our Trainers – Emily Long

Background & Experience:
My name is Emily! I have two years of experience with personal training, and just recently graduated with my degree in Wellness and Health promotion. Growing up I was always a swimmer, and later found a new passion for strength training. I am currently working towards my Nutrition certification, and would love to get a yoga certification within the next two years.

Why a career in health & wellness?
I decided to pursue a career in health and wellness because I have a passion for helping people and want to share my knowledge with anyone who wants to listen. Witnessing the transformative power of fitness and nutrition in my own life inspired me to guide others on their journeys toward better health. By sharing with individuals the tools and information they need, I aim to make a positive and lasting impact on their lives.

What do you do for fun?
I love swimming, hiking, spending time with my friends and family, traveling, trying new food spots, and spending time with my 3 dogs.

Favorite exercise?
My favorite exercise is walking lunges!

Favorite muscle group to work out?
My favorite muscle group to workout has to be legs.
