Meet our Trainers – Kiana Colon

Background & Experience:
I used to work in the TV and Film industry as an accountant for 4 years while also being a seasonal zipline instructor. Since deciding to move into the fitness industry, I have worked at the front desk of different gyms while also training friends and family.

Why a career in health & wellness?
I wanted to pursue a career in health & fitness because I have personally experienced how much of a positive change it can bring to your mind, body, and soul when approached the right way. I want to help others experience that same transformation! My goal is to create a safe space for everyone to workout, improve their health, and embrace the challenges that come with change.

What do you do for fun?
I am all about picking up new skills, and this year I’m diving deeper into bartending and woodworking. I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s working with my hands or just enjoying the sun. When I’m not busy with that, I’m usually lost in an interesting book or hanging out with my three amazing nieces and nephew.

Favorite exercise?
Barbell Back squat or Zercher Squat
 
Fav muscle group to workout?
Posterior chain! If that doesn’t count, then I will stick with legs!
